Joe’s expertise lies in various areas, including SALT (State and Local Tax), succession planning, and mergers & acquisitions. He specializes in providing advisory services, assisting with mergers and acquisitions, and offering strategic guidance in succession planning and tax consulting.
Joe has had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of industries, from manufacturers and distributors to professional service firms. As a CPA, he holds a BS in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and an MS in taxation from Bentley University. Joe’s commitment to professional development is evident through his membership in prestigious organizations such as the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MassCPAs).
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Joe is actively involved in Tonnesons’ volunteer initiatives. He enthusiastically has supported the Tonneson 5k race, a fantastic event that benefits the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry, showcasing his dedication to giving back to the community.
