Mentor Programs
We care about our employees’ personal and professional growth, and we want them to have the support they need to achieve their goals. Our Mentor Program pairs every staff member with an advisor they can rely on for guidance and insights about their career paths. This program creates a two-way relationship between mentors and mentees, with an emphasis on authentic, honest conversations that result in growth and employee satisfaction.
New Hire Onboarding
The first impression counts—and we aim to make a good one. Each new member of our team meets with our HR department for an introduction to all things Tonneson. They receive department-specific training and learn how to use our management systems, databases, and tools.
Every fall, we welcome a class of new associates to the firm. Their first two weeks are devoted to orientation and training. We provide extensive guidance focused on their department skillset while also exposing new team members to staff across the firm.
Leadership + Innovation
From senior leadership to entry-level talent, we believe that all our employees should have the opportunity to improve their leadership skills, network, and stay on top of industry trends and developments. We frequently send our staff to AICPA ENGAGE, GGI Conferences, MA Conference for Women, and several conferences hosted by the MassCPAs, to name just a few.
