Tax Managing Director

Tonneson + co is looking for a Managing Director in the Tax Department in our Wakefield office. The position will manage engagements for a wide range of clients ranging from global corporations, to closely held companies, to emerging entities.

Responsibilities include

• Provide tax planning and compliance services
• Conduct multi-state tax filings
• Perform tax accruals
• Manage a portfolio of clients
• Serve as a trusted advisor, offering clients industry expertise and knowledge
• Work closely with engagement teams to continually add value to clients
• Train and mentor tax associates

Qualifications include

•  BA or BS in Business, Finance or Accounting
• CPA certification or equivalent is required
• MS in Taxation is desired
• 15+ plus years of experience
• International tax experience is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Prior experience with ProSystem fx Tax, BNA products, and CCH Intelliconnect is desired
