Rich is a highly esteemed Shareholder at Tonneson, having joined the firm’s audit department in 1996. With over 29 years of professional experience, Rich specializes in a wide range of areas, including manufacturers, distributors, service providers, non-profits, advisory, M&A, accounting, and tax compliance. He has developed expertise in advisory, assurance, and mergers and acquisitions.

As a CPA and Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), Rich holds a BSBA from Merrimack College. He is an active member of professional organizations such as the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MassCPAs). Rich has also served on the Mousam Lake Region Association Board of Directors for over 15 years, including a four-year term as president. He has been actively involved in the Friends of Reading High School Softball and Reading Youth Softball for the past decade.

Rich’s motivation stems from his passion for helping people, sharing his knowledge with others, and being a productive member of society. His dedication to making a positive impact is reflected both in his professional endeavors and his involvement in various community organizations.

Get to know Richard Eagleston, Jr

Outside of work, Rich finds joy in spending quality time with his family and engaging in activities that bring him happiness. He particularly enjoys spending time on Mousam Lake in Maine with his loved ones, indulging in the pleasures of lake life, such as fishing, boating, grilling and using his smoker. He and his wife Kristen also hold a special place in their hearts for a certain magical place in Florida—Disney World! As a proud softball dad and coach for over 15 years, Rich is experiencing the bittersweet end of his two daughter's college softball careers and enjoying watching them coach and work with the future generations of softball players.
