Jamie Tong-Chow, CPA Named 2024 Woman to Watch

Tonneson + Co proudly congratulates Jamie Tong-Chow, CPA and Audit Shareholder, on being named a 2024 Woman to Watch by the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MassCPAs) in the Experienced Leader category.
This prestigious recognition, presented in collaboration with the AICPA’s Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee, honors seven exceptional women across Massachusetts who have made significant contributions to the accounting profession and their communities, while championing the advancement of women as leaders.
The Women to Watch Awards recognize individuals in two categories: Emerging Leaders and Experienced Leaders. Nominees are evaluated based on the following:

Community involvement and engagement with educational institutions
Jamie embodies the spirit of this award through her unwavering commitment to mentorship, advocacy for women in leadership, and strategic impact at Tonneson + Co. She plays an active role in college recruiting, staff training, mentoring, and firm-wide strategic planning.
Beyond her contributions at Tonneson, Jamie serves as co-chair of the RISE (Respect, Inclusion, Support, Empowerment) Committee and the ERISA Committee at MassCPAs. She is also a member of the MassCPAs Women in Accounting Committee and serves globally as Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Special Interest Group within the GGI Global Alliance. Most recently, she began working with CareerSpring, an organization that provides career guidance to first-generation, low-income students.
