Tonneson 5k and Kids Fun Run on July 14

The 7th Annual tonneson + co 5k will take place around beautiful Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, Massachusetts on Sunday, July 14. Proceeds from the 5k will go directly to the Wakefield Food Pantry to benefit the Kids First Program, which provides food to families with school age children during the summer.

We will have many fun activities for kids this year, including a 1/3 mile Kids Fun Run that starts at 8:10 a.m., face-painting from Faces by Eva and games and prizes from Dave & Buster’s and Pure Baseball. Kings Bowling will also join us with some great giveaways and “mocktails”!

We will also be raffling off some fantastic prizes, including a scratch ticket board, 2 Kings Bowling prize packages, a $100 gift card from Ristorante Fiore in the North End of Boston, and a collection of gift cards from Bertucci’s, Boloco, and Qdoba. Raffle tickets are 1 for $2, 3 for $5, 7 for $10, or 18 for $20. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Wakefield Food Pantry.

This is a great event for runners of all skill levels, as well as walkers. Strollers are welcome, so please bring your little ones!
