Tonneson + Co Named to Accounting Today’s Best Firms for Technology

We are pleased to announce that tonneson + co has been named to Accounting Today’s Best Firms for Technology list. Tonneson + co was one of three mid-sized firms included in the list and the only named firm headquartered in New England.

In an article published on May 3, Accounting Today editors explained that they decided to seek out firms “that are embracing technology and leveraging it to build more responsive, more profitable and more sustainable practices — with the twin goals of recognizing these leading-edge firms and identifying best practices and strategies that other firms can adopt.”

To participate, firms had to complete an extensive questionnaire that Accounting Today created with the help of a number of technology experts and consultants. Three dozen firms completed the questionnaire, and tonneson + co was one of 11 firms that were individually recognized.

Accounting Today’s article notes “one of the things that impressed our editors about Tonneson was its focus on the way technology factors into interactions with both clients and staff.”

Our approach to technology has allowed us to create efficiencies that improve the quality of our work, work-life balance for our employees, and our ability to service our clients’ evolving needs,” said Richard E. Mastrocola, President and CEO of tonneson + co.

Accounting Today also notes that tonneson + co is using technology to help groom its next set of leaders.
