About The Role
We are currently seeking a part-time Payroll Administrator/Financial Analyst to join our team!
Work Schedule
25-32 hours a week Monday through Friday
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare and process weekly payrolls
- Assist in data entry of new hires and terminations; produce calculations required
- Reconcile 401k plan updates on weekly basis; provide reporting on plan to management team
- Research employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner including verifications of employment
- Assist with annual merits, increases, special, and retroactive calculations, and schedules
- Reconcile vendor invoices related to compensation and provide updates as necessary
- Review expense reimbursements for adequate documentation and approval; process in payroll
- Organize Payroll Storage and documentation
- Extract and analyze employee data for reporting, compliance, and metrics purposes
- Analyze quarterly and annual payroll-related tax filings and reporting
- Assist with payroll-related audits
- Assist with PTO Allowance calculations and reporting
- Assist with General Ledger data, reconciliations, and analysis
- Assist with other special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree; in Accounting or a related field is a plus
- Five years of electronic payroll processing experience (including for remote workers)
- Experience with ACA Reporting and federal, state, and local taxes
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional, organized, detail-oriented, and customer service oriented
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential information and maintain confidence
- Willingness to work overtime if needed
